OLADELE BAMIDELE ASSOCIATE, GOVERNANCE, RISK MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE (GRC)
As Associate GRC, Oladele’s primary role is to support the President & CEO and the AVP, GRC in developing the organisation’s GRC mandates.
Oladele Bamidele (“Oladele”) is a seasoned professional with sizable years of experience in Credit, Financial, Information Security (IT) and Operational Risk Management. Oladele handled Operational and IT Risk Management at FBN Merchant Bank and FBN Capital, where he was responsible for the implementation of the Bank’s Operational Risk Management framework. He was also responsible for the periodic coordination of policies and Standard Operating Procedures review/approval for all business units across the Bank.
Prior to joining FBN Merchant Bank, Oladele was a key member of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Group at Heritage Bank Plc where he acquired cognate experience spanning through all the aspects of Enterprise Risk Management. He led the team that implemented the Enterprise Risk & Control Self- Assessment Bank-wide.
At Enterprise Bank Ltd, Oladele served as a cash officer/Head teller before a further engagement at the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management Group. Oladele also has experience in project monitoring and management, network systems and database administration, relationship and customer service management and package implementation of integrity systems.
Oladele holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science (PGDC) and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin. He is a member of the Institute of Operational Risk (IOR), UK and the Risk Managers Association of Nigeria (RIMAN). He is also a CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and currently pursuing the ISACA CRISC certification. Oladele is happily married and has a wonderful son with his lovely wife.
